Newport Coast Maritime Academy is a certified US Powerboating™ school, the nation’s leader in powerboat training, education and safety. Our mission is to deliver training courses that empower students with the skills and techniques to become safe and proficient captains. NCMA instructors are highly experienced, U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captains, with extensive experience in vessel operations, offshore cruising and maintenance. Our Powerboat Cruising and Basic Keelboat courses are approved by both the California Department of Boating and Waterways and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).
